MSC Cruises has implemented a commissionable shore excursion program. Rick Sasso announced the program at the Cruise Holidays Conference in Miami this past October. The program will pay 5% commission on all pre-booked shore excursions. Agents can book the excursions via the MSC website or by phone.
This now gives the Travel Agent the ability to increase their bottom line by adding tours to the total price of the package. And your customer is going to buy the tours on board anyway, so why not look like a hero and book it for them.
